About Me.
Hi, I’m Samantha Rosario, and I’m the founder and instructor behind this Summer Fashion Camp. I’ve dedicated my life to fashion design and creative education — and I’ve built this camp to give young creators a safe, joyful, and inspiring space to express themselves.
As a proud graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) , one of the world’s top design schools. My journey in fashion didn't begin there it began with hat designing and quickly led to incredible opportunities — from designing costumes for Broadway productions and Netflix films, to working NYFW shows to crafting performance looks for artists featured at the BMI Awards and the Grammys. Even while I was still in school, I was fortunate to collaborate with incredible talent and gain hands-on experience across different areas of the industry.
While still in college, I worked at a bridal atelier, where I specialized in creating custom wedding gowns and one-of-a-kind pieces for special occasions. I also served as head of alterations and custom design at Stitch N Sew — all by the age of 20. These experiences helped shape not just my technical skill, but my belief that fashion is a powerful form of self-expression.
While I love creating, I’ve discovered an even deeper passion: teaching and mentoring children. I’ve worked in education and youth programs, and I cherish the energy and imagination kids bring to the creative process. Growing up, I had the support of my parents who always encouraged my dreams — using the skills I have developed over the years I hope to deliver that same encouragement to every child who joins my SR Studio Summer Camp!
Through this program, I aim to do more than just teach sewing or design — I want to help kids discover confidence, identity, and joy in their creativity. Whether it’s through sketching, draping, painting, styling, or sewing, your child will learn skills they can carry for life.
This camp takes place in a warm, welcoming environment — my home studio — and every project is guided by care, safety, and the belief that creativity changes lives. Your child won’t just be learning fashion; they’ll be building friendships, self-expression, and leaving each week feeling proud of what they’ve accomplished.

Our Story
Discover the magic of SR Studios, where kids ages 6 to 13 dive into the world of fashion through hands-on learning, creativity, and self-expression. Born from a deep passion for design and teaching, SR Studios was created to give young creatives the tools, space, and confidence to bring their imagination to life.
At our Summer Fashion Camp, every week is a new adventure. Whether it’s sketching, sewing, draping, or redesigning, campers are immersed in a fun and structured environment where they learn real fashion skills while making lasting memories. With age-appropriate instruction, daily projects, and themed weeks, we make sure every child — from the curious beginner to the budding designer — feels encouraged, seen, and inspired.
SR Studios is more than just a camp. It’s a nurturing, empowering space where creativity is celebrated and self-expression is at the heart of everything we do. Our founder, a FIT graduate with years of experience in fashion, education, and professional costume design, brings not only industry knowledge but a heartfelt dedication to helping each camper grow.

Thank you for understanding. In a dedicated area that I designed to be both functional and nurturing. What started as a personal creative sanctuary — a place where I could dream, design, and express myself — has now grown into something I’m proud to share with your child.
I created this space as a safe haven for myself — a place to feel at peace while creating. It's filled with energy, warmth, and inspiration, and my hope is that it becomes that same kind of space for your child: a place where they feel welcome, supported, and free to be themselves.
Here, young designers can explore their creativity with guidance and encouragement. From sewing machines to sketch pads, fabrics to fashion books — everything is set up to spark imagination and hands-on learning, while keeping safety and comfort as top priorities.
